Google announced early registration for .Dev Top-Level Domains GTLD which is now open for the public. The CIO of Google, Ben Fried published a blog post on Feb 19, 2019 and wrote that “Google Registry is announcing .Dev, a brand new top-level domain (TLD) that’s dedicated to developers and technology.”
What is .Dev gTLD (Top-Level Domain)?
.Dev is a top-level domain name which is owned by Google. When ICANN launched new generic top-level domains (gTLD) program in 2015, at the time Search Giant acquired gTLD’s like .app, .page and .dev (also owns .soy) and from now .Dev is available for general public.
